This is the one that pisses me off the most. The one fucking segment of RNG disappearing blocks took me longer to get past than fucking Castlevania 1 or 3 would.
Also Rondo is piss easy, no excuse for not beating it.

Aw, don't be like that, OP. The NES games in particular may take some getting used to, maybe even a restart or two before you git gud, but they're worth it. Also what >>7444368 said, if you've beaten IV, then you're probably already good enough for Rondo of Blood. It's less about platforming like IV was and more about dealing with enemy patterns, and while you don't have 8-way whipping, you do get character specific movement options and a subweapon supermove to get out of shitty situations. RoB would probably get you on track for 1-3, even, so there's that as well.

That said, the classics and LoS games (there's two PS3, three if you count MoF HD will probably take you the longest, the classics because they'll probably be hard and the LoS games because they're kind of long, especially compared to just about every other vania game.

I mean if anything, the N64 games are actually at least decent, anon. Don't let the SoTN/metroidvaniafags bullshit you otherwise. If you have trouble with how the player characters handle, just stop and take things a bit slower. Don't want to accidentally dodge backwards and throw yourself into the poisonous river, after all.
