What is the best NES game of all time?

For me, it's a toss up between:
Super Mario Bros 3
Metal Gear
Final Fantasy
Little Samson
Megaman 2

It's an amazing game and gave birth to an entire genre.

Ninja Gaiden could’ve been the greatest game ever if they didn’t fuck with the difficulty. It’s too hard for no reason.

The MSX version arguably. Not the NES.

The MSX version is incoherent garbage, the NES streamlined the game and made it playable for non-spergs

005 for Arcade by Sega was the first stealth game, though, not Kojimashit.

Really? Try Castle Wolfenstein by Silas Warner.

I've been looking for NES recommendations. Anything action based really. Problem is, I've always found NES games have really ugly colour palettes and very often nasty sound which can put me off a bit. Not asking for 'hidden gems' but anything competent not often talked about would be appreciated.
