first two are classics. 1 is more of a survival horror game like RE but not quite the same. 2 throws this out the window and is an action game but with RE tank controls, fun and has an arcade style point system but the story is forgettable compared to the first. Play the Dreamcast version and then 2 is only on the Playstation.

The classic Resident Evil games do a better job of properly balancing the fun vs difficulty and building an atmosphere. Dino Crisis becomes samey and bland halfway through & the game design gets frustrating. Even those issues DC1 is still a must play if you're a fan of the genre.

Either you're coping really hard or didn't play this game in the last 10 years. It's incredibly exhausting to play it inutively, very specific ammunition is required to put Dino's to sleep since they respawn when killed. Killing is not even a reliable option as it takes too long, you can't take documents with you, really stupidly designed riddles are making you run across the dino infested areas several times (find a random finger print on one of those countless dead bodies and one very specific code to match it up with. Or better yet: here are 4x2 matrices and two letters. Guess the password) and your arsenal is limited to two weapons that do practically the same fucking thing. It's not fun to play at all and has major design flaws. Literally every single RE game with the classic capcom formula does a better job than Dino Cum 1.
