Kino or soulless remake?

It's really good but not really faithful to the original.

If you absolutely can't handle the controls of the original then it offers a passable 'true' TR experience I guess

Didn't play it but I played Legends which I assume is basically the same exact gameplay and it controls like a dream. It came out of nowhere, didn't expect it. But TR Legends is legitimately one of the funnest games I played because I loved the controls so much. Underworld ruined it right after though when the "realism" meme start raring its head in games.

That being said, I'm sure this is amazing but it would feel like a completely different game.

Both, visually it's a treat but the level design is dogshit. St Francis' Folly took me hours to clear for some reason because I ended up having to play hunt-the-pixel on the shitty wall climbing. I really, really wanted to enjoy it.

There is no such game as TR Legends, faggot. Next thing you gonna talk about Laura Craft
And you couldn't be more wrong with your random guess shitposting

Is it not the same exact engine and gameplay and graphics as Legend?

Yeah it's the same, although Legend has a 'next gen' graphics option in the settings at least on PC, but it makes Lara look completely different and I seem to remember it was buggy for me as well when turned on.

I'm thinking you're the retard who actually didn't play the Anniversary or Legend games. My comment was relevant because I was talking about the gameplay.

It feels much better to play/control than the original, it's very satisfying when you get into a rhythm of just nailing the platforms one after another.

It loses a lot of its atmosphere and it doesn't feel like literally everything is going to kill you instantly so you lose that fear factor of the original game.

Didn't like it much. No particular hates, it just didn't push any of my hot buttons.
I liked Legend, and Underworld both, a lot, but Anniversary just didn't do it for me. Played to about Midas Palace, and lost interest.
You can never go home again, like the man said.

I vastly prefer the original and it's my least favourite of the LAU trilogy but it's not a bad game.
