The graphics aren't washed out in the dreamcast version, it's a dramatic improvement. Please play this version if you can get your hands on it as it's amazing.

I remember first playing this in an arcade back in the late 90s, blew like 10 bucks on it.

I rented the N64 version and my Dad really got into it too, so much so he ended up buying it, it was like the only game he's ever really gotten into.

AFAIK mame emulation is still borderline playable.

one time in the N64 version of 2 in that stunt stage with all the ramps that looks like its inside a computer, somehow i managed to flip a car upside down without it exploding

i still think about that 20+ years later as a highlight of my life
