GPU optimization is Ok but CPU optimization is dogshit. Like, Quad Cores were already a thing in 2007 but Crytek, in its infinite wisdom decided to only use 2 cores, thinking frequency was the future. I get that programming is hard and shit, and that very few people owned QCs at the time, but it still sucks.

I realize this is meant to be bait, but I recently finished playing Crysis on max settings, and the graphics legitimately look better than most eight gen games on consoles. It's not just the graphics that impressed me, but the AI, level size, and physics as well.
