No. There was an officially licensed wheel by logitech specifically made for this game. It was even advertised in the game manual. It got very good reviews back then.

I've never seen it irl.

The have flight sticks in the cutscenes.

Honestly, I doubt the game plays well with a wheel, even the official one, given how twitchy it can get with all the sharp turns and the crazy tracks.

I tried playing the game with a similar logitech wheel on Dolphin and it was nearly unplayable.
