A blessing because art being shared with generations will lead to better art in the future. The problem I see is that they typically experience stuff second hand, like you said, via youtubers and streamers. Even movies and music have this problem where a couple of prevalent figures dictate discussion on the piece.
I say to just not care about other people's opinions and to form your own.
