1) Has GOLDs, which is the main "selling" point, TR3 GOLD is even as a separate installer, which makes it even better.
2) It is the final patch version of each of those games, so they are free of all the residual bugs
3) Final build of AoD, with certain fan patched to it, too, making it probably the best straight-out-of-box experience with it (still can apply few of the fan patches from mid 10s if you like)
4) TR1 runs without a problem on modern hardware, everything pre-configurated for it already in the files
5) Far easier to make work with panoramic screens than any other version

Unfortunately, there are two issues to them
1) Installation (and only installation) is in Polish, so you basically are doing it via muscle memory if you can't read Polish
2) There is a new bug in TR2 that randomly triggers on roughtly every third PCs on 64bit OS for no obvious reason or fault, nobody ever figured why. Either way, it crashes if you finish the very first level, so you will need a save state from just about any place else to get to Venice

Yes, last time I played it was like 4 or even 6 years ago. It was another and totally different time and my skills weren't the same. I jumped into the series really late, I played TR1 ages ago but got filtered, Legend was my truly first one and that's the one I feel in love with the series. I know it's very removed from the classic look but I just love everything about her design, and her VA's portrayal, "i'm falling in love all over again". It's a shame it was just for one game, but I guess that's part of TR, she always changes. Anniversary Lara is cool but it's wasn't the same, they changed her design and it lost that look I loved so much from Legend, I don't mean her outfit, she just looked less cartoony or stylized, I guess, idk.
With the older games, so far i've only played 1 and 2 to the end, I really like TR2 Lara in-game model, she has the braid on that one and she's less umm...geometrical, lol, tho her FMV look from 3 and Last Revelation are my favorite versions of Classic Lara, granted i've only seen images and trailers from TLR, but I love it, second favorite Lara.

That's an issue Crystal has since Underworld, not a recent thing. They had a clear-cut idea for two games: Legend and Underworld. Anniversary was a side project that was more or less forced on them by the corporate branch. Once they were done with Underworld, they were done with TR, since they:
- no longer had a contractual obligations about it
- already did the games they wanted to make themselves
- would gladly move to other projects
Part of their team worked on Ascesion (dig it out), which was already a TR in-name-only. However, as far as I read through what Ascesion actually was wasn't a TR, but a new franchise they were working on, using Underworld engine and building on it, hence being tied to TR, but not really being one.

Wasn't Shadow not made by Crystal Dynamics? I heard Rise was decent enough, I'll probably pick that one up in the near future, I like playing nobrain AAA action games every once in a while, they're usually quick to finish and nice to look at.
That's what Tomb Raider 2013 was for me, I've played it twice and still can barely remember anything about it but I remember having a decent time while playing it. It's fine when you forget that it's titled "Tomb Raider" and just see it as an Uncharted clone.

So damn good, God, I wish we would've gotten more Mummy movies during it's prime(not the jet li one), during Brendan's prime. I know they're cheesy but I love them so much. To my knowledge, I don't think anything has come close to the mummy since it's release, for this genre, tho not better than Indi, of course. I played the very first game of The Mummy for PS1 some years ago. Not worth it, sorry.

It's like a parallel story of what happened in the first movie.
The game contains all the characters (Evelyn, Jonathan and even Beni), the music is the same, and you play as the kick-ass Rick O'Connell, but it's all about exploring tombs killing things and cheesy comments in-game while trying to deal with the that fucking controls. Also, It's all so repetitive. The first levels are ok, but the rest seem the same, It's boring.
