This being said, Eric deals less dmg against many bosses, even with fully upgraded weapons, which make them drag on longer. Especially noticeable against Medusa


Protip: use the axe against Medusa, she's weak to it and that will deal as much dmg as if you were using fully upgraded John whip

Beat the game with both but on hard I could only finish with John. Being able to diagonal whip makes that final boss gauntlet so much easier.
