Nah. If you're not a 12yo in the mid 90's or earlier and you're impressed by lots of auto fire switches and buttons you probably have brain damage. Also the build quality is pretty bad. Not modern chinkshit tier but still pretty bad, especially the electronics.

These are the best pads simply because of the form factor, they're the most comfortable pads ever imo.

Making certain things easier for low skill casuals isn't taking "your skills to the next level" anon. It's making certain things easier for low skill casuals. Nothing more.

For me its not the auto fire that made them work for me. Rather its the button placement and rounded edges.. Lets not forget they worked their way up to making ps2, og xbox, and gc controllers too. Got an xbox controller decently bt i have yet to see how comfortable it all is.

I liked pic related a lot more than the any of the three SEGA controllers that you could use on the Saturn. One of my favorite controllers of all time actually.

It was either the one they made, the Capcom one, or the Gravis Gamepad back then. Of those 3, I still prefer the Capcom one, and I have not tried the Gravis Gamepad. The Interact pad is a bit big for average sized hands and still not that good at giving a console experience on DOS.
