started on the Gamecube with the Sonic collections, Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario, etc., and then moved on to the Wii where I dabbled in the Virtual Console too. Super Mario 64 was my jam.
after a while years ago, I found out my Gamecube was sold and decided to get another one due to nostalgia.

from there it just kinda snowballed, and I ended up with a nice collection. these boomers are insane man, do they seriously think they are the only ones who can appreciate these games wtf

Former is flat out wrong and latter is incredibly debatable. I say this as a zoomer. Games are much more simpler mechanically speaking. Visually it's a maybe. RDR2 was the only new game that had in a long time actually say out loud, "what the fuck, this looks real". Many new AAA games look like straight ass.
