Gamecube controllers are one of the most comfortable controllers I've ever used.

SNES controllers are nice too, and ps1-3 controllers are pretty nice too once you break your hands in for a couple of hours.

My only issue with the Wii Classic Pro is the fact that the Z triggers aren't analog whereas vanilla Wii Classic controller had its shoulders being analog, it feel comfy dashing on Harmony of Dissonance with the feel while playing in Retroarch, i play with a wii classic controller adaptor. if it weren't for that, (and the home button actually working on retroarch) it actually be the perfect controller, as they fuck it up royally since the Wii U controller with their choice of moving the d-pad and the buttons at the button, and from what i read the Switch one is an inconsistent mess.

I almost want to buy another One controller before they're gone forever and it's impossible to get a new one. But they're already up to 75 bucks. I used my wired 360 controller for over a decade. Hoping to get much more mileage out of this badboy. The smooth glide and accuracy of the thumbsticks feels great. I can even switch to a taller thumbstick for N64 and a convex thumbstick for the gamecube feel. If it's a 2D platformer, I fall back to my Wii U Pro controller because of layout. Couldn't be happier!

I thought this when I first started held one but I've grown to love them. The ridge is so easy to catch your thumb on to push the stick any direction you want without having to reposition your thumb. The rounded outside and ridged inside let you both push and pull the stick easily.

The PS4's sticks feel like shit by comparison. They're too smooth and slippery and there's nothing to catch your thumb on. It always feels like your thumb will slide off.
