It's good until the aliens take the spotlight and all the levels turn linear. Why couldn't they just keep the formula of the first act and let you blast through the semi open levels? The whole idea of being the most dangerous man on an island full of normal soldiers is really cool and they somehow fucked it up. Same thing happened with Far Cry when the mutants showed up and the game stopped being about Rambo and turned into something else.

>they have aimbot and can headshot you with a pistol from miles away
>once someone spots you the entire map knows where you are and chases after
>The only viable strategy is to spam invisibility shoot invis shoot etc
>The levels are supposed to be open but thats not the case you ll hit environmental walls and only a single path
>in half of your missions you end up being chased by a helicopter that can see you at all times even invisible, up until the end of the level when you finally get given a rocket launcher

All in all it was mediocre crysis 2 was better but it still wasn't good
