REmake is dumb. as it turns out survival horror isn't fun when running out of ammo is a genuine possibility. this is why Kamiya deleted RE2 at 60% completion and retooled it from the ground up as a run n' gun action game where ammo is never a worry.

5 games in existence? You mean the other RE titles that came before RE4? I did enjoy RE1, RE2, RE3, RECV and REmake. The controls and camera angles never bothered me. RE4's controls didn't bother me either. Other things about RE4 bothers me, such as Ashley saying "help me Leon", the storyline, lack of zombies and annoying QTE sequences.

MGS2 is far superior to MGS3 as a stealth game. Its AI is far better. Its level design is far better. Its mechanics are far better.

MGS3's actual stealth gameplay (you know, the majority of the game) is probably the worst in the entire mainline series including 5.
And that's just the stealth, if we're talking story MGS2 obviously blows 3 out of the water. 3 aspires to be nothing more than a Bond movie about characters while 2 is a profound satire of video game sequels and a terrifying mirror held up to our modern internet era world.

Frogger, Quake 2, and Tomb Raider 2 on PC was probably one of my worst holiday gaming hauls. Largely, it was because they all barely ran on my Pentium 75 machine and it reminded me that I needed a better one, which wasn't in sight at the time. That aside, Frogger genuinely blew, and both Quake 2 and Tomb Raider 2 were inferior sequels with hardware limits removed.

The abundance of tall grass makes it very easy to hide from enemies for a majority of the game. most places in the game you can just lay down and get headshots from across the map all day with almost nothing impeding your progress.

Difficulty does not change enemy behaviors or movement speed, only how large their vision cone is. This is especially lazy after MGS2 which has enemies patrolling at an actual sprint on Extreme and even changes the layout and number of enemies for more challenge.

MGS3 guards rarely if ever check in, whereas in MGS2 radio guards would check in every 30 seconds. If you KO the radio man, a dispatch team is immediately sent to investigate after a failure to report, making stealth more challenging and requiring more planning, strategy, and execution to get through some rooms safely.

Enemies in MGS2 during the Evasion phase actually work together clearing rooms and corners efficiently, you can tell Kojima and his team actually worked with military and police groups on the AI for the alert and clearing phases. in MGS3 the only enemies with AI that even tries are the Ocelot unit.

CQC makes getting spotted a lot less dangerous on every difficulty, enemies in general are weaker and worse in firefights than in MGS2 where you die in seconds.

And the number one (this is the big one) the first person lean mechanic in MGS3 is completely and utterly broken. In MGS2 the first person lean moved your character model and hitbox (you can easily see this with radar and with the mirrors in the game). This mean that if you tried peeking around a corner in first person to shoot an enemy, he could easily spot you. In MGS3 no such thing happens. If there is a physical object in the game world, you can sit yourself behind it, lean around it, and you are practically invisible while able to score infinite headshots all day.
