If I take a long-ass break from playing a game and finally come back to it and dont remember where I am or where I am going should i restart?

I'm bored. So I'll humor you. Where did you find these Golem Twins? Inside Zeal Palace or the Ocean Palace?

Regardless of answer, want a quick recap? If not, just start over.

fuck no. why waste time?

>> No.723163

You can either restart or give up because it's gonna take forever to get back there.

Case in point: After beating the last dragon in Chrono Cross I took a break that turned out to be a few years long. When I came back I had no clue where I was or what I was doing so I just took the game out and put it back in its case, never to be played again

When you sit down to play it after a break, DON'T try to accomplish anything. Just mess around in it without progressing, get used to combat and where you're at again. The problem is regaining momentum, and doing that makes subsequent sessions easier to jump back into.

So he can have prior part of the game fresh in his mind and not break the continuity of the experience?

Just look a walkthrough.

It's fine for a jrpg, I fucking hate returning to a cRPG and have no idea what build I was going for or what quests needed to be done.

Just did the exact same thing. It took a ton of backtracking to actually figure out where I was within the storyline.
