Do you have any games that you go back to during Christmas holidays?

What are you looking forward to this year?

Not that I can think off.
>a specific Christmas game

My 8gb future which I'm very grateful for and a Corsair 700v psu possibly. I have a pile of pre-owned PC games to get me started. And I'm playing original Playstation (good evening) To get me in the mood.

My retro game stash includes
Conan
Venice circa 1600 simulation game
Elvis' bedroom

Which is epic bounty certainly.

no, but I have good memories from when I got an NES for Christmas and playing SMB w/ my sister between bouts of vomiting cause I was sick that day. I also have fond memories of playing Half-Life.

I don't really have any game that I ritually play during the Christmas holiday although the last year or two I've played some PC games mainly Euro Truck Sim 2, and Va11ha11a.

Max Payne's a great Christmas game, but I'm not going to be playing it this year. The interiors feel so warm, and the exteriors so appropriately cold.

until my dreamcast died a few years ago every dec i'd play Timestalkers and record of lodess war be it fresh games or going back to the saves ive been working on off and on all year. But dec specifically I would play those 2 games and just partake of them and all their features. Timestlkers while not being that great allowed for alot of stuff on the vmu and I had a vmu emulator you played off your dreamcast so you could see everything on the tv.. so i'd go into timestalkers and get the vmu games and just spend time powering up the recruitable monsters thru it or earning gear and items thru them. Timestalkers is still one of my favorite games for dreamcast even if it wasnt the best.

The best Christmas present I ever got was my Donkey Kong snes set, so I always go back and play that. That game still amazes me to this day. I sure do miss my parents and my home, looking back I had a really nice childhood.

Fewer things are more based than someone playing OG Spyro in 2020.
I played the three games back in August (as part of some autistic thing I was doing that I called an "Insomniac marathon") and had a newfound appreciation for Spyro. Ripto's Rage was one of the first games I ever played, but I always preferred Crash. Not anymore.
Spyro 1's settings are amazing too. Very dreamlike. Sad that the 2 sequels abandon that, although their settings are great too.

Not exactly, I do like to finish playthroughs of games around Christmas though. I remember starting that tradition with finishing the first Resident Evil on Christmas Eve a few years ago. Now I'm trying to do that with Metal Gear Solid, I'm trying to finish my first playthrough on the 24th or 25th

I also like watching an angry man stream Parasite Eve around this time of year.
