Is that the guide or the manual?

Internet made them irrelevant so the market can't support fancy ones.

I'd argue the opposite. Nobody is going to buy them for their utility, so might as well make it a collector's item, with a very fancy finish and a price tag to match

The internet made them obsolete. It's kind of like video game manuals.

Does anyone have a good database of video game guides? It seems like many of them aren't archived in pdf format anywhere.

At what point does a blade become a practical weapon for Edgar? His crossbow breaks the game and you can get through half of it spamming it.

Is the only reason for him to wield a blade just to 'switch it up'? Great game design.

Cool character otherwise. Best arc with an ending fit for a king.

You are right, but the market for something like that is so niche that it makes producing them mostly impractical. In Japan there are still sometimes artbooks that carry the tradition but they're rare too these days.

WHY ARE FFV GUIDES SO EXPENSIVE

Internet Archive is your best bet, and even then much of the Prima stuff was nuked recently so they're not as viable of a preservation platform as some people may think.

What? Every major game release has at least an artbook. There are way more nowadays than before.
