I’ve never had trouble with it on Dolphin. As for arcade sticks, I believe the some of the only ones ever specifically made for the Wii were for that game. However, due to them being fairly rare and breaking down over time, at events it’s always played on Dolphin.

Ryu is boring design wise, but move wise I always play him. He's simply got the base move pool you need to work with to master the basics of the game without learning a more specialized strategy. When I want to switch things up a bit I use Sakura, and I also become fond of the characters Balrog and Birdie who I can just bludgeon people with when they're not expecting it after they've gotten used to my "shota" tactics, and I also will use Karin because I simp for her and she was good in Alpha 3.

Nash/Charlie in Alpha 2 is my second choice to make up for dictator's weak matchups or exploit heavy favored matchups. In Alpha 3, Nash's V-ism is the easiest for me to perform, but I primarily use A/Z-ism. The only time I use Sagat for real is in CVS2, I prefer to use standing heavy kick over Tiger Uppercut, because I think it looks cooler, and achieves a similar to possibly better results.
