Fighting games are best be played on a keyboard than a joystick. It gives you instantaneous access and stability to all the 10 fingers at once.

There are shortcuts. You don't actually need to pull a complete 720º off, just 540º. It's easier to explain if you think back to a 360º first. You don't need to do the full 360º, just 270º or so (in some games, even less). That's why you can do those movies without triggering an accidental jump.

I find it hard to believe you can input walking 720 motions effortlessly, but if you can, you're the first I've come across.

>> No.7121964

Keyboard controllers aka Hit Boxes are able to input 360 and 720* degree motions much easier than any other control method because the player can simply piano his fingers across the relevant inputs in order. This results in a much more consistent execution of the move. This has been common knowledge in the FGC for over a decade.

*actually 270 and 540

Nobody calls a keyboard a hitbox. they are completely different, and nobody says 270/540 motion.

>easier than any other control method because the player can simply piano his fingers across the relevant inputs in order.

It may be more precise but it definitely isn't easier.

There are cases where a keyboard or hitbox is really better, but your cope isn't one of them.

It was the only 6-face button controller available to DOS at one point. I liked it more than the Gravis Gamepad.

With a keyboard I doubt anyone would.

Personally I enjoy grapplers for the fear you put into your opponent after finally landing a knockdown.

Mapping out keys for diagonal motions sounds really shitty to navigate, but if he really did grow up that way and also played an instrument it sounds feasible to pull off

Don't think thats necessary.

Good keyboard players absolutely exist, I've just never come up against anyone who can do this on keyboard, and I find it hard to believe a guy who calls the motions 270/540s can.

It is a foreign concept to me, since I main charge characters. Grapplers eat so much damage, just for a brief moment of dopamine of which then reverts back to continual misery. I am more comfortable creating a gauntlet wall of attacks or going in with the intention to intimidate and frustrate, so I've never felt the fear of any grapple character.

>>7125052
There's also the regular Super Street Fighter game for DOS which has that silhouette on brick wall artwork for the cover.

I want to, but there's no assurance I could avoid legal action. I am in a poor place financially to even have legal representation.

>>7125110
Yeah, the Walmarts around me had those shareware discs in a metal shelf. I'd have loved to get more of them. I did get that green Wolfenstein 3D box from Walmart which finally gave me a registered version to play all 6 episodes.

Fair enough. But if you ever feel like dumping em and are concerned about the legal aspect, shoot me a mail and I'll handle the public distro with no blowback on you.
