LTTP is the quintessential Zelda game and what it does it does well. But it doesn't reach the highs of some other Zelda games, in my opinion. Still would rather play it over WW, TP, SS, BOTW, and the DS ones though. Also I think ALBW is less enjoyable.

I tried my hardest to get into it but the lack of satisfying combat, obnoxious overworld traversal, extremely annoying low health alarm, and generally a lack of interesting dungeons made me quit.

I want to go back just so i can say i beat it though.

Zelda honestly past the cool music always feels extremely linear and shallow
