It just barely works. You play Zelda and keep going up/down/up/down and Link'll start moving to the left. The original didn't do that. The Retrolink is also super light and cheap-feeling.

>> No.706023

OP, Retrolink makes good gamepads, don't worry. But they do not feel authentic. That can be fixed only by breaking them in over very long play sessions.

Also, don't forget, that NES pad is also ideal for TurboGrafX 16 and Master System games, as well as Gameboy/GBC.

Since you faggots have inflated the price of the Hori pad, I'm looking at pic related instead. Honestly, it looks like a better layout. Seriously, this should have been the stock N64 controller for layout. Nice 6 button sweep, logical placement of stick and pad within a single thumb's reach, nicely curved etc.

USB n64 Controller

Got it last week though. Saves me the pain of button mapping on a ps3 controller and works great.

IIRC the joystick on them is digital and not analog so when you play without doing adjustments it is ultra sensitive and has a giant deadzone. The Nrage plugin fixed that for me.

The controller itself is decent for 15$. The joystick is snaps back fast which is nice. But it certainly doesn't have the feel of a original controller. In saying that, If i was in your situation where I had an original controller with a new joystick then yeah I think i wouldve bought the adapter as they support two controllers.

>Bomberman Hero

A great game. Don't expect a traditional Bomberman game though. The adventure mode is just awesome.

>Mission Impossible

I grew up with it and really loved it. Tons of little things, multiple ways to solve an objective and stuff. Might suffer from being old now.

>Episode 1 Racer

One of the best racing game ever. PLAY THIS SHIT NOW. NOW I VE SAID!!!

>Perfect Dark

You've never played it and still ordered it? Good call, I think it's the best FPS for the 64. Every mission is great, tons of secrets, tons of new objectives if you play in harder difficulties + secret missions... It's really great. GREW YOURSELF 2 MORE ARMS AND ANOTHER HEAD AND PLAY IT WHILE PLAYING EPISODE 1 RACER NOW!!!

I won a bid for 28 games and a Yobo top loading console for $56, I figure 2 bucks a game is reasonable enough. It comes with Zelda, Mario 3, A Boy and His Blob, and some others I want to have. I also bought Kirby's Adventure separately for $10.

Got a copy of Link's Awakening in recently and got today a Gameboy Color (the translucent one). Because playing Gameboy games in an emulator always feels ridiculous.

Also Gameboys are totally radical.

It's the crystal clear audio mod. The schematic is here: http://16bitgamer.forumotion.ca/t33-tiido-priimagi-s-crystal-clear-audio-mod#37

The right audio channel isn't working for some reason which I must now puzzle over, although the left is working and sounds great

>being the high bidder for more than 1 second

YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. You're supposed to snipe shit at the last second, not drive up interest in the item. If you have more dollars than sense, then have fun, but there is no prize for paying more than you have to (but I hear /pol/ says otherwise).

Not even him, but I tend to forget the shit I want to buy on ebay, so I'll always do a small bid first and see if I still care later.

Also, if I put an auto bid of the max price I want to pay for it, I can't be disappointed since I wouldn't pay more than that price.

>Saw a copy of the DS Megaman Z collection with one bid of 1 €
>Put a max bid of 15€ on it
>The first bidder actually already put a max bid higher than that
>mfw he's going to check ebay and he went in just one bid from 1€ to 15€

I don't know who THEIF and Kata are, but your saves are safe with me, kid. The first slot had four hearts and was called Link, no big loss.

"THIEF" is a result of stealing from the shop owner by circling him several times and then leaving the room when he is looking away as a result, your name gets overwritten as "THIEF" after doing this so everyone calls you that and the next time you enter the shop you are killed by the shop keeper (only happens once per theft)

No it won't. I never ordered that.

Also, NES controller sucks. Just use a decent modern controller. They're comfortable enough that you won't care that you're torturing your hands using that tiny jagged piece of shit with a worse pad and buttons and lack of buttons and having to swap it constantly.
Shit you could have at least gotten the dogbone.

I'm getting a cigarette lighter volt meter for my car if you must know and some electrostatic brushes to try on my tablet.

These are nice but the plastic piece on the analog can become lose and fall off. You can easily slide it back on it's metal peg but it won't ever be as snug as it once was. The plastic part will slowly spin around the peg, due to pressure of your thumb, and typically fall off again. It's not too hard to secure it with something though.
