Sort of, the premise was that a motor home like that had broken down on the highway or something, and Dredd boards it to probably ticket the guy, to then discover that the only guy who was home was on the bottom of the swimming pool, as a bleached skeleton with a bullethole in its skull, all the flesh having been worn away by automated cleaning cycles. They deduce that he's probably been dead for like 15 years, and just nobody noticed, because it's common for people to live most of their lives without leaving a motor home like that, just letting automation handle refueling and shit. Dredd comes to the realization that any number of these automated homes could be effectively motorized tombs, shuffling along dead bodies ceaselessly, and nobody would ever know.

In the same issue, a guy from that previous story ended up becoming famous for launching a fashion trend where you'd use makeup to make yourself look ugly on purpose.

AV and Kama Sutra are good but quite hard for inexperienced players. Try Scythe 1 (until MAP24), the two Memento Mori wads, and Requiem. You shouldn't get your ass expanded much from those. Adventures of Square is great for beginners too, just avoid high difficulty on E2. That's actually pretty hard, even for me after 7 years of Doom wads. Back to Saturn X on difficulties below UV should be great too. Cacowards are great for other ideas, just beware of the Hell Revealed school of wads aka slaughterwads. They're hard as balls. Also avoid Ribbiks. He hates you and wants you to die.

This doesn't do anything unless the crouching actually blocks their line of sight or messes with their pathfinding. Like the enforcers in Duke they actually have a turnspeed you can outstrafe. They also don't get traditionally hitstunned, when they get hit by so much as a bullet they're unable to attack for a few seconds.
A lot of fights can also get balanced out with the health you can get from it, like how I ate shit in this webm but they gave me some hearts on death.

This is my biggest problem with how cultists are designed. The strafe weakness doesn't mean shit if you're in a restrictive area where you can't do it, like when they put 5 of them in a narrow corridor, or somewhere overlooking the area you're in. I use the voodoo doll exclusively for sniping them from far away. If I don't have any ammo for it I use the flare gun which is super underrated, unlike other pistol weapons in classic FPS it isn't rendered completely useless once you get a new weapon. I quickly peek around corners, get a shot off with it, go back into cover and let the burn damage do the work while I'm safe. The alt fire attack is basically a rocket and it works fantastically against close together large groups of cultists/any enemies in general, the ammo cost of 8 may seem steep but the game gives you tons of ammo for it for the most part. Unlike every other classic FPS where I usually default to carrying around the shotgun and switch when necessary I actually find myself having the flare gun out the most due to it being so useful and versatile despite being the pistol equivalent. Also try using the alt fire of the dynamite to bounce it around corners where you think they may be, they give you a ton of TNT for a reason, if it takes too long for it to explode just use remote detonators instead if you have them as they also bounce around corners.

This is great, there's always something new to unearth about these games. I see animated versions of the face textures, which would be cool to see in engine, if such a thing is even supported. Last row has mirrored textures from Doom II's intermission. What's most interesting to me though are the first seven textures in row fifteen. They look very similar to this texture from Quake III. Arsenal definitely plays a factor, since blood starts super stingy with everything in episode 1 for the few few levels. It gets better eventually, but those first 2 levels felt awful for it. As you started getting ammo in level 3, they then decided that every gunfight needs to be in very tight quarters so you can't use mobility to your advantage, so that was pretty shit too. By comparison, the first encounters with evil ninjas you had plenty of room to move around, a quickly stabilized arsenal, and plenty of room to learn how to deal with them effectively. Never finished SW so I haven't seen the more stupid variants, but Ep1 vs Ep1 they felt considerably more fair in their usage.

I need a help of Quake 1 fans.
I want to find the particular Quake 1 total conversion which is quite old (at least 15 years old).
It was sci-fi themed, you choose difficulty by boarding the spaceships. The first level starts on asteroid (?) with very tough enemy which you kill by picking up the Thunderbolt and using all of its ammo. You pick up the Nailgun replacement which was changed to look like an automatic rifle and its model was off-center.
I can't remember anything else because it was quite tough and I never went beyond the first room with a lot of enemies in it.

The difficulty selection was in a big white hangar with Easy/Normal/Hard ships in it. You walk in one and it loads the first level.
You start outside the ship in a different location, walk inside the door, pick up the Thunderbolt, kill the big guy in reddish spacesuit by using all of the Thunderbolt's starting ammo and like 5-6 shotgun blasts. Then kill a couple of normal sized spacesuit enemies and then find an assault rifle. You walk in the big room where you die in the crossfire.

It's really fun, but you have to sort of love the games to do it. I tried Doom mapping first, but I quickly realized I don't much like Doom's gameplay rhythms unless it's modded like with Babel. But I love Quake, I could play that forever, so mapping for it so far has been lots of fun. I had my doubts so I went back to see how the start of Blood fares at the start on Lightly Broiled.
The first two levels are fine. Mob count with ammo distribution works well and you don't have to minmax the secrets to reach that; the first two maps are also comfortable to move and fight around in. Map 3 is where I was going to be worried but even playing a bit loose and sloppy like this allowed for a lot of room to move and fight about. The room that followed is also notoriously packed to fight in but not when you use the boxes.
Shadow Warrior is giving you the opportunity to find a huge portion of the arsenal in the first level with ninjas rarely taking less than two seconds to shoot you.
I think the only problem is how much the pitchfork sucks compared to other Build melee slots, but ammo wasn't an issue on LB. Blood may be considered the "Plutonia" of build games but I think you're being a bit too harsh on it.

Give yourself a constraint, 2048x2048 map units of playable area gives you a surprising amount of liberty, but it's limited enough that you can't get too carried away, sooner or later you run out of space and you've gotta wrap it up, alternatively you make a plan which simply has to fit. So what's with the Unity port on PS4 anyway? It's accurate insofar as gameplay and rendering, but I have some complaints:

That's part of vanilla autoaim. Hitscan actually also has very slight horizontal autoaim (disabled in deathmatch I've been told) but it's a lot more noticeable with projectiles, especially rockets for obvious reasons.

Alfonzone is a varied mix of GzDoom levels if you wanna see stuff done with 3D floors and slopes, and some use of underwater effects and simple scripts.
For a mod to go with that, there's a lot you could try, in fact the mapset being sliced up into a large set of self-contained minisodes means you could try out a bunch of mods for a few levels each to see what they're like.

Hideous Destructor is a popular one, but the gameplay is all new and has a learning curve, so unless you like the idea of a realistic tactical shooter, except featuring evil demons and supernatural magic (some do, because there's not really anywhere else you can find that), I wouldn't say it's worth looking into.
If you prefer more straightforward and arcadey gameplay, it's likely not going to be fun for you. But maybe you do.

There's Metroid Dreadnaught if you think it'd be cool to convert the gameplay to a mix between Super Metroid and Metroid Prime.

There's a mostly complete GzDoom conversion of the (really) old Edge classic Immoral Conduct : Special Edition (it lacks the AI companions replacing Megaspheres, which fucking sucked anyway, and the by-type kill counter, which wasn't a worthwhile gimmick, also those kind of spoil the maps for you). There's supposed to be someone making a remake of it, but that probably died.

High Noon Drifter is a cool one, has a cowboy theme going, though it has no new monsters, so maybe combine it with Legions Of Bone, which replaces all enemies with spooky scary skeletons.

Accessories To Murder is neat in some ways, it's a little bit like Doodle Broom if you cut out a lot of the bloat (like melee finishers, the shitty gore, the 10 years of spaghetti code, and headshot mechanics), and gave it a cool makeover, though it has its own flaws.

Descent Into Heresy is a mod for Heretic which replaces all the weapons with Quake ones, if you like the sound of that.

Demonsteele is a DMC-like gameplay mod. I haven't played it, but I've been told it's good.

Has anyone encountered a glitch with the chainsaw/chainsaw like weapons where, after using it, you get pulled forward and lose your ability to turn?

This is my first time trying out Zdoom on Linux (ubuntu 17.04 because of compatibility issues with the particular laptop), and I've never encountered this before - I've used all sourceports prior to this on Windows. The glitch happens on doom.wad, doom2.wad, and heretic.wad with the gauntlets.

If I can manage to hit an enemy again after this happens sometimes it "resets" and I get control back. It's almost like a bad hitbox issue - it's similar to when you are chainsawing with IDCLIP and you get pulled through the enemy, but instead of just getting pulled through you also lose left/right turning.

The feeling is that there must be a turnlock state for the player when chainsaw makes contact and in the glitch you get pulled out of it in a way that doesn't remove you from the state. I'm about to install Zendy and other sourceports to see if it happens on them as well, but does anyone have any experience with this?

It's probably the second most fun shooting and speed I've ran into a build game. Duke and Shadow Warrior are a blast but I really like how they handled things here.
My one concern is how stiff weapon switching is if you're not reloading before doing so, you have to wait for the firing animation frames to be done or something.

Nah, that will never happen. See the screenshot? That's all there is hud-wise and there won't be more. It's just enough for the most important readings - health, armor, evidence and ammo count. Currently I don't even have a key indicator (not that there are lots of keys anyway). I like it that way and I hate damage indicators and health bars and numbers and icons and waypoints and whatnot in Doom. Weaker overall, but Doom 2 also has levels which are really good, some better than many of Doom 1s levels.

In reality, Doom 2 doesn't really have that many more bad levels, rather the way levels are ordered makes for poor pacing overall.
The first 11 levels, mostly good or even great, then you have a glut of levels in a row, ranging from dull to outright tedious, before the game picks up speed again.
