Commodore 64 and Playstation 2. The C64 was just chock full of all sorts of quirky shit that was fun to explore, the SID music was fantastic if done right, and it was my childhood after all.

The PS2 had excellent selection of titles and genres, played everything the PS1 had to offer, and it was pretty much the last time AAA gaming was worth a shit. Gen 7 after that is where gaming went to die.

Honorable mention goes to the Amiga 500.
