Gideon not trying so hard would be a start. Again, the rules for Early Modern English I referenced are pretty simple, that even the dumbest translator could have known this had they opened up a dictionary for literally 30 seconds or less. An example of this correctly done would be with (the localized text of) Dragon Warrior while an example of it done incorrectly (but somehow not nearly bad as Gideon's attempt) is Frog's speech in SNES Chrono Trigger.
