I've recently replayed this a bit on Steam.

Made it to the cave level, played it a bit and already amazed at how fucking mazy it gets right off the beginning.

Game is pure kino. It takes the DOOM formula to the logical conclusion better than any game before it. It's hard, mazy, gory, tons of weapons and strategy and unforgiving.
