Have you ever been spoiled by playing a more recent game in a series first then try to play the older games?

How did it feel?

I played Shinobi 1 on the Nes and loved it.Years later played Shinobi 3 on Sega, but yet no matter how many times i tried i can never get into shinobi 2.

Its not the graphics because both games look the same, its the gameplay in S2 is so much slower, plus the controls feel less responsive and no drop kick.

So tell me your story.

Revenge of Shinobi is fantastic. You should try playing it more just to see all the insane and awesome bosses the game has. Also the last level that plays like a maze is hard as dicks. I love it. Sure, it lacks the grafics and polish of III, but Revenge is still a great game.

I'm actually currently playing the original Metal Gear now that I've finished playing the solid series.

Metal Gear sure is fun to play, but the trapdoors are annoying sometimes.

Really? Great! Hopefully fhere aren't that many trapdoors, that's pretty much my only gripe with the first Metal Gear,that and the lack of difficulty regarding human bosses I guess. Most human bosses I could beat with a couple of machine gun rounds..

I played Lufia 3 before 2 and 1.
3 is my favorite, 2 is good, 1 is nigh-unplayable by virtue of being so inferior to its sequels.
