ITT: Incredible retro sports titles

Can this fucking game ever be surpassed? This, Hangtime, Jam TE, and NBA Street Vol 2 are the highest of high tier.

NFL Street is also alright.

Hot Shots Golf 2. Perfect entry into the sports for kids who didn't play it (aka nobody.) Easy yet good controls, ton of characters to unlock and had a great atmosphere to it.

Nah, it all went away, and for the worse. There is one sports game per sport and a few rinky dink pieces of shit games that come out once and a while for niche sports of hobbies. Remember when motocross games were good, or sim racers, let alone arcade racers which don't exist anymore?

Shit, NFL 2K5 is still the best sim football game ever made but EA holds the entire NFL hostage with Madden.

I'm a sports fan and think the mario sports games are just straight up good, especially in terms of arcadey gameplay. They have no right to be as good as they are. I wish the romhacking scene would take of for mario tennis, baseball, strikers, etc. because I want more of those games but bigger
