I hate my craigslist because...

I live in a town of about 50k and am surrounded by a huge rural region, which on the bright side means game prices are not that high and people are reasonable, but every time I see something that is a good deal and I genuinely want it, they always live in one of the rural areas that is like an hour drive or more and the time and gas for that turns the deal into not such a great deal.

Wait, what the hell is wrong with dude in OP pic calling it "uncirculated"? I'd say it fits the description, as it has only just been removed from the bulk case.

If it's okay to use terms like mint and near-mint to describe things other than coins, then there's no reason you can't use this one as well.

If anything, the only mistake that guy made is not calling it mint, since that's that's technically above uncirculated and the game shouldn't have received any wear at all sitting in their shipping box.

Uncirculated just means less than mint but above handled & used.

Like how uncirculated coins might have minor marks on them from rubbing around in a bag with other coins, whereas mint coins are basically untouched without so much as a noticeable abrasion.

>> No.698785

>>698750

In the OP pic though it says "uncirculated (never in store)", which means that that's what they think uncirculated means.

While I don't think that uncirculated should never be said for games, it is kind of stupid because the vast, vast majority of games, even if they're still sealed, aren't uncirculated in the same way that coins are. For example, Megaman 9 press kits are something I would consider uncirculated. And yes it's true that coins of a very high quality can be considered uncirculated, I don't think the same standards apply for videogames.

because there are enough idiots who can't just wait. if people don't buy the game... THE SELLERS WILL DECREASE THE PRICE! People dont realize that.
somebody listed Earthbound (x8) for $150 BIN free shipping... they sold out in 2 hours. Which was kind of nice considering the pieces of shit listing it for like $200+ BIN. hell somebody won a bid for $190 for the cart AND box in great shape. some sellers will be smart and sell for lower than average. that's also a good sign for the game prices, though. because then every seller will start doing that, the opposite of when they list games for slightly higher than the highest one sold. it's a good sign.

Holy fucking shit, I'll excuse the 80s system part, but proof read your fucking ads for God's sake! It's not forum post or a chat reply that you want to get out fast, it's a fucking ad that many people will read and base their opinion of you as a seller from!

I seen one person that was selling a used shitty torn up couch for $50 on Craigslist. The jacked thing about that was that he had it on the side of the street waiting for the trash people to pick it up, but refused to let someone take it for free, he rather it of been trashed.

A few people posted above him about how much of a fuck tard he is, but nothing gaming related. My Craigslist sucks because I live in a medium sized town/city surrounded by a huge rural region, so all of the good retro deals or otherwise that I see always end up being an hour drive away and with gas prices that good deal turns lukewarm to bad.

Yeah I noticed how... early 90s the whole area felt. Akihabara is kind of a ghost of itself in terms of the technological "wow" factor.

And most arcades I've been to in Japan are similarily in decline. They've been just as full of DDR and redemption/ticket games as arcades in the U.S.
