I think its like some stupid liability/insurance/warrant type deal that this will never happen with official console case mods
thats why everything we have seen no matter what the console attaches on top like a sticker or faceplate or etc it could how ever legally happen so to speak if you sent the console back to the manufacture or like ordered the base hardware online spend extra for custom shit plus a fee to put it together plus even more scam bullshit shipping and handling fee

I do remember with the 360 that faceplates were insanely popular its odd that MS didn't jump on custom shit for the one since they really tried hard selling as a PC for console gamers but then again ms thought the kinect 1984 and etc garbage at launch was what hardcore gamers wanted idk the x really does look like a pc case now if they're not retarded in the future they will release custom shit or at the very least a bunch of limit edition shit that isn't a coat of paint with a X brand/logo sticker

also I love me 90's radical transparent consoles the brighter the better my favorite I owned tho was my extreme green gameboy which was sold at a yard sale for 20$ since I got a gba only to find out a few years later that they are a tad rare

I used to have one of these, but I sold it because the sound was much better to my ears on my model 1 genesis/model 2 CD combo. The CDX (and Nomad AV Out IIRC) have obnoxiously loud bass. The balance is completely out of wack. Just made any drum line in a song sound stupidly louder than the rest, ie. Reincarnated Soul in Bloodlines just sounded like notes punctuated by ear-punch drums. Shame too, it's a cool model, but I have no reason to want it.

Just got one of these in a lot of random GBA shit, It was dirty as fuck but once I cleaned it up the shit revealed itself like a phoenix rising from the disgusting hand sweat ashes. The color looks fantastic especially when playing on a sunny day (as GBs are meant to be enjoyed)

Probably this, definitely looks nice, they also used the same scheme for the XBOX Debug kit (with different text on it of course). For the most part though, I don't care too much about console design and color variants. If I'm getting multiple for some reason, like one Gamecube for US and one for JP, sure i will take it into consideration and try to get different styles. For the most part, I don't typically actively seek out additional console variants, beyond trying to get the original default console designs and color schemes when possible.
