Because All Stars wasn't NES ROMs running on a NES emulator on a SNES?

Also all the games had the graphics and music redone (I'm not counting the "+ SMW" cart, just original All Stars, because SMW is already a SNES game).

But still, my question is unanswered: is 3D All Stars just an emulation, or have they redone them with more modern graphics and sound? SM64 could especially benefit from this.

Sm64 is emulation with resolution bumped to 720p and some minor textures and text replacement. Same for sunshine, but bumped to 1080p.

Galaxy on the other hand has been recompiled to run on the switch's cpu while emulating the wii gpu. Also had some button prompts and text replaced and a resolution bump to 1080p. Looks the best of the bunch.
