I really would love another entry that builds upon what Breath of Fire 4 did instead of just throwing the baby out with the bathwater and making Breath of Fire 5 an experimental semi-strategic RPG sci-fi apocalypse drama.

In the 1990s JRPGs were hot shit and every publisher wanted their own hit franchise; by the late 2000s they were a niche genre and larger publishers lost interest.
