well, let's round it up in 300. With that money you can maybe buy a copy of Ogre Battle 64 and a copy of Goemon's Great Adventure.
Those are fine games, but there's more on the N64, despite "haha N64 only has mario and zelda haha" memes.
A flashcart seems like a good investment because if you want to have all the good N64 games, then you'll be likely spending over $1000 on them.

Yeah I don't have one, it's on my list of shit to eventually buy but I can't justify it because I already have a stack of carts I picked up for relatively cheap.
Some of the homebrew stuff seems interesting though, like some of the custom smash bros stuff and I'm sure more and more of that stuff will continue to emerge.

When I do pick one up I'll probably just spring for the x7 just because its not at the end of its service life. Plus its a cool piece of hardware and 180 seems pretty fair for what you're getting.

The X7 also allows you to save without having to hold down the Reset button, which is otherwise a huge inconvenience IMO.
