Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. Hands down my all time favorite game. Cinematic are wayyy better than Lunar 1. Great, great game.

Not yet, there's maybe 15mins of FMV without subs, just check them on youtube when they come up.

Alundra isn't a JRPG but if you can stomach the hard ass puzzles and platforming it's a great choice. Arc the Lad is certainly interesting if you can get behind the super-early PS1 factors and multi-game set up with strategy combat. Azure Dreams is a rough but interesting roguelite mystery dungeon style game with dating sim elements. Brave Fencer Musashi should be considered a predecessor to most modern action-adventure JRPGs, really. Jade Cocoon's a neat ass monster collection JRPG title, and i'll also throw in a recommendation to check out Legend of Legaia. If you're willing to pirate/burn copies and so forth, Tales of Phantasia's PS1 version has two different english fan translations and is a solid version of the game. And of course both Wild Arms games are solid, though their translations were a bit iffy.

i like digimon world 3 as a kid and i didn't find any problem with it and was my favourite ps game
now i'm replaying it just for the nostalgia, goddam the gameplay so hecking slow i don't even know why i got all that much time to finish the game twice as a kid
