Like the other anon said they're a bit jank but captures the look of the comics.
I've only played one of them on pc, but from what I've gathered they were designed for snes first, the music sounds a little better on snes when you compare them so I would go for that version

Which 3D Asterix games are worth playing?

>> No.6874673

>>6873825
What are your thoughts on Gothic 2 Gold? I think that the game is great, but it has problems with pacing since you explore basically the entirety of the Khorinis map in chapter 1, so when you have to return to the area in chapters 3 and 5 you only have a few new quests to do(and you can also backtrack to kill the newly spawned enemies, but that's about it). Also, the final dungeon is mediocre - it's symmetrical and without any interesting puzzles. As for NotR, Jharkendar is a varied environment, which is great, but the west part of the map is too linear (there's literally only almost completely straight paths, that's all you get), the dungeon at the end is too linear and small, and there's no other dungeons except the library which is too small (but at least it's something as opposed to those temple rooms which contain only one room with a chest - that was just lazy design).

Lovely to play with 1 to 3 friends. It's the only game which I play the PAL version of. The US release is censored, and it's the kinda game that benefits more from the extra resolution than 5 to 10 more frames per second.
