Is Policenauts any more original than pic related? I appreciate Kojima's choice in source material but if I wanted to play the Blade Runner game I'd play the Blade Runner game.

Policenauts is a 100% derivative story. I liked the graphics and overall presentation of it but it's hard to even really call it a "game", there's not much to figure out you just exhaust all the dialog options, and sometimes do a crappy shooting minigame. SOTN is probably 20x harder/mentally demanding and that's one of the easiest games ever made.
