The first paycheck I ever earned went toward a Gamecube and Smash Bros. Melee. I loved it, and I played it a lot with my friends. But I can't stand Smash fans. They make Sonic fans look like nice, upstanding people. These assholes post incessantly about character predictions and tier lists, and wombo combos, and will not even get up from their chair to take a shit. If you've gone through half of your life not understanding how to hide your powerlevel, Smash fans will teach you how in a hurry. You may love Smash to your core, but god help you if you admit to it, because saying so is like saying "yeah, I'm an unwashed manchild who is so lacking in human interaction that he finds joy in watching reaction videos to character reveals." No one cares about what ShonenJump character you want to appear, anyone who understands that there is a life to be had outside of getting gud at vidya only wants you to take a shower before you commit suicide so that the EMT's that respond to your corpse don't run the risk of passing out from your atomic BO.
