You're a kid in 1982. Your mom takes you to get a new game system and three games. What do you get?

What do people here think about the Amico? The Amico version of Cloudy Mountain has been in development for a while, although it's not gonna have the Dungeons & Dragons branding.

I get a zx spectrum instead and copy as many free games as I like from magazines. Then I write my own game and become rich because kids could do that in 1982

If you can choose ANY home computer in 1982, why in the dicks would you ever pick the ZX Spectrum over the Commodore 64 or Apple II?

I get the fuck out of there. I run on to the street trying to warn people of what's happening but no one listens. I jump into the back of a truck to escape only to find it's full of the pods that got my mom.

Commodore 64 would've been an amazing buy at that point. And then you upgrade to NES, bypassing the Atari shitstorm.

>That flat TV

What is this sorcery?!
I know it says it's a projection TV but where are the projectors? They never ever fit in that small space in front.

>> No.6821152

>>6821112
See that obscured round thing in the gray area? That's a projector and there's there's three of them for RGB. The wood panel that's floating in front has a mirror which projects the image to the screen. It's done that way (versus being directly projected) to gain an extra 2 feet or so to spread the image out.

>3D games will be allowed, as long as they are easy to play and easy to learn. Intellivision Entertainment is providing studios with resources they need to develop games to put in their curated library of games. All games must have features exclusive to the console, and must be rated E or E10+ by the ESRB, or PEGI 3 or PEGI 7 by PEGI
I can't envision a future where this isn't an ouya-tier flop.

Nah, this was the year the 64 came out so it was still $500. Compare this to less than $100 for an Atari 2600. especially if you were Burger where the disk drive was mandatory. Personally I would have tried to swing an Atari 400 with Pac-Man and a couple other solid titles, Atari had good releases for its computer line.
