Do you think they way this game controls was a good idea? The point was to make the game simple but when newcomers try to play it they tend to have a harder time playing this than games like Mario Kart

My youngest nephew loved this game because even if you don’t control Kirby he will keep going forward and cannot get stuck. Personally, I loved the controls. Especially in the top down game, which I felt was the best from the bunch. I know a lot of people prefer the City game though. One thing that is interesting about this game is that it has lots of achievements that you can track on a grid. The game gives you one for free (iirc) when you create a profile and then you can see the missions/achievements that are right next to the completed achievements on the grid. So not all the missions are revealed to you, but instead are hidden until you reveal them by completing one next to it or you have a guide. I’m finding this difficult to explain but its that grid that gives this game replayability. Without it, it’s only like six or seven tracks, one small map, and 6 or 7 one screen tracks you can lap in less than 10 seconds.

*takes a shit in your thread and runs out*

I always thought everything about the game was shit and it was the first time Kirby disappointed me, but everyone seems to think this game is the most amazing gem, so what do I know.

this is me, except that I acknowledge the soundtrack as the redeeming value. The races aren't worth talking about, and the other modes remind me of those Smash Brothers extra modes (which aren't terribly entertaining). None of my friends liked it either.

It's mediocre in every aspect except the ost. At least they lopped off the two decent ideas it had and reused them for smash bros.
