Post weird Gamecube games.

The Ren and Stimpy dude, John K made this. It's like a stripped down Tony Hawk with weirdly sexual cartoon characters.

Didn’t that Ren & Stimpy guy got charged or accused of grooming a teen? I remember watching the Howard Stern show where he was interviewed. Not one of his games were ever good. But back on topic, there was also a Tony Hawk rip-off but with Mickey Mouse. Capcom made a bunch of GameCube exclusive Mickey Mouse games for Nintendo. There was a soccer one as well I believe.

I forgot the title of the game but Kingdom something where you control a girl who summons monsters by throwing down decks of cards were pretty fun and somewhat obscure.

Not particularly obscure, but this game. Crush an enemy army by playing pinball. Also there's microphone controls.

You're not wrong about this being weirdly sexual. I wonder who it's aimed at if it's full of sexual visual gags, but it also has a simpler trick system than THPS.

Is there a homebrewing scene for the Gamecube like there's one for other 6th gen consoles?
I really would like to give some of these games a try, but they all probably cost like hundred of dollars right now.

I guess I could just emulate them instead, but... eh

the best way to pirate gamecube games is to mod a wii and play them with nintendont. if you insist on a gamecube, which you shouldn't for much besides the game boy player, you need a way to boot swiss. there are several games that can be exploited to do it or you can buy an action replay disc that can boot homebrew from an SD card.
you can burn DVDs, but mini DVDs that read well aren't widely available, and full size DVDs require taking the top shell off your gamecube.
you can use an SD card adapter, either connected to a memory card slot or serial port 2, but it reads slower than a disc so videos will stutter and load times will be longer. still reasonably playable for a lot of games.
streaming over the network with a broadband adapter works about the same as with an SD card adapter, but it's not worth buying a broadband adapter for.
GCLoader is an optical drive replacement that runs games from an SD card at faster speed than discs, but it's $90 and rarely stocked.
just use a wii and nintendont.

shit, I completely forgot the Wii had backwards compatibility. I haven't touched mine again in years.

Nigger, just because something is "rare" doesnt mean its wanted. If the product is in high demand its going to sell at a higher rate. You could make 200 copies of a game, but if no one wants it, it isnt going to be worth shit. Retard.

>>6789989
Dude it'll pass. Lowkey everyone has been waiting for this because you could never get a good discussion on 6th gen in /v/. It helps that 6th gen is where you can really start see gaming lose its soul so even from a historical perspective its still rather noteworthy.

Granted because of the nature how gaming has evolved at that point you have cases where games released in that time frame are still relative to this day when it comes to PC releases. Mostly because PC has always been ahead of the curve for certain things.

Yeah, it has tricks and also the idea is everyone's a toon and thus can survive being blown up, flattened, electrocuted etc. Racking up a combo of getting hurt by 'effects' interspersed with tricks is how you do well, though there's stuff like winding up on fire sets off explosives when you ride by them, or being electrified can turn on machines - one 'effect' leads into another and is often a neat way of getting around and to the best trick spots. Neat in that regard.
