Selling, buying or producing reproduction cartridges or labels is wrong - It is illegal, and it is literally killing the retro gaming hobby. Anyone who takes part in such activities is a scumbag and a criminal. Counterfeit and bootleg goods are against the law and no one has any right to do it. The excuse that you simply want them for your personal collection is disingenuous and impotent reasoning used by those who lack the will to track down legitimate copies like the rest of us in the collecting scene.

Flashcarts aren't in limited quantity like retro games are. Even then reproduction carts/games will probably fill the demand a lot to. They aren't going to shoot up to $60 or anything, at least I hope not. Emulation is inevitable. Even if you get a flashcart the consoles themselves are going to keep going up in price, like 100 years from now when it costs $2000 for an N64.

>> No.6739458

Not bad as a kid not knowing any better, fucking everyone had a Golden China famicom, and the games were cheap.

You'd only get the cartridge, so no box, no Nintendo logo, most kids grew up not knowing who Nintendo even was, despite playing all the games.

We never had the SNES, perhaps the bootleg scene wasn't as prevail ant, instead we skipped straight to Mega Drive (Genisis) same deal, bootleg cartridges, but again, we didn't know any better.

By the time Playstation arrived, sanctions were dropped and retail was available as normal.

It wasn't shitty at all, it was the same in most of Latinamerica (official shit existed but was too expensive for most people).

It was the same. Perhaps better. On a famiclon you play the SAME shit, it isn't even emulation. Pirated games were ridiculously cheap and for the same money some rich fag got an original NES cart I could get 10 or 15 famiclon carts.
I played over 300 different games (the exact same available in NES and many that were officialy japan exclusive) I could just get 1 or more every week and exchange them with friends since most people used this clones and not the original shit.
