I did this same thread on /V/, but I want to get the retro take on it..

Well basically I'm suffering for severe depression, and the fact that my birthday is a couple of days away it makes things worst so I need some help finding games to distract myself a little bit and avoid suicidal thoughts

My favorite retro games are

I get that feeling. Gen5 is the low point of gaming in my opinion which is rare here. But that said Silent Hill is well worth playing.

Getting out and doing something active is my best advice but if you're going for a game anyways I recommend Ecco.

I was diagnosed with depression at 15, was on medication for several years, but now I can't afford it, and the best I can do is try my best to not harm myself and my family in the process.
