Anyone has a reliable faq source for pc-98 games ? Game hints, walkthroughs, cheats, stuff like that ? There are a few on erorege senki (on internet archive) but I can't find all I'm looking for on niconico.

Dragon Master Silk is still being worked on (but only the PC-98 version). I think the Saturn version is Japanese only.

Frenchfag here. Metal Slug machines were common back in the days, I remember playing Metal Slug X as late as 2002-2003 in the now defunct Arcade of my hometown.
They had mostly Neo Geo and late 90's-early 2000 Sega stuff. Plus a few Time Crisis.

Nope. There was a project some years ago that has been abandoned. The guys at PC-98 Discord tried to go through the files from it, but they were unusable. Unless someone starts again from scratch, we're out of luck.

46om guy here, Appareden is coming along. All text internal to the game's files is done and in the game, just needs our standard final testing pass which is ongoing. Making sure there aren't any hidden issues that we hadn't turned up in our main testing phase.

I'm currently only working on manuals and a potential trailer while that is happening. Not bad progress, and this year is fairly certain for the patch to come out, but can't guarantee anything just yet.

There's a decent amount of extra content for Appareden, which is nice. Hopefully we'll have it wrapped up before the patch itself is at 100% ready to go out.

It's still nothing compared to what we want to do when we get to Different Realm. That has a full volume of manga (not specifically in the game's actual world, but in the tabletop RPG's world at least). Then there's the "manual", which is ~50 pages and jam-packed with lore text about the world itself. Stuff like the page I'm posting. That one's going to take a lot longer for those parts, and the game itself is ~250k characters which isn't a small amount. Still excited to get to it and a couple of other things we've been working on after Appareden's out the door.

Different Realm (and Appareden by extension) took a backseat to life for me, which is why we're only just now making any real progress on Appareden. Once Appareden's out the door, my primary focus will be on grinding out the script for Different Realm.

Hacking-wise? It's in a good enough state that we can reinsert both text and images, though there's only one image that needs reinserting (pic related). I'm hoping to spend weekends just going through the script and getting us somewhere relatively soon though. Even at full time it'd take me a bit, due to the size, but we'll get there.

We have two "official" 46OM projects that haven't been announced yet to go alongside Different Realm. Smaller in scope so likely to release before it but after Appareden.

For our hacker on his own, he's doing Possessioner and Tokyo Twilight Busters (both have a translator on them already), as well as Kuro no Ken which doesn't have a translator at the moment as far as I'm aware. If I ever get any more free time and he doesn't find a translator, we might lump that latter into the 46OM releases.

The game has oodles of text and is not the easiest to translate and it really does deserve a competent translator...
