For a game made by steven speilberg it just plays like any other WW2 FPS.

I hate these games with a fiery passion. slow, clunky, ugly and just dripping with US military propaganda.
irreparable damage to the FPS genre

It's very different to Wolfenstein 3D.
What other WW2 fps game that preceded MoH are you thinking it plays just like?

>Development of the game started on November 11, 1997. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg held a meeting with DreamWorks Interactive staff, outlining an idea for a video game, a first-person shooter set during World War II. The idea originated from the experience his son Max had from playing the game GoldenEye 007 and Spielberg's deep interest of World War II.
>When the game reached its finishing stage in November 1999, there was an angry letter sent from Medal of Honor recipient Paul Bucha who rejected the release of such a game, claiming it was a dishonorable project. Peter Hirschmann showed Bucha a demonstration and gave a talk, saving the project from cancellation altogether.

I could never to this day get used to two-stick FPS games.
Goldenye was great because it has snap-back movement and aiming, where as two-stick games like MOH felt like trying to move a mouse cursor across the screen

You get it. That's exactly why RE4 worked so well back in the day when FPS didn't dominate the console market yet.

Modern FPS literally make the game aim for you when you press the aim button.

Anyways, I'm a PC chad and the mouse is always the best option.

i know, right? its one thing to bitch about the whole series, but the first game came out as a console exclusive in 1999?

Just google "return to castle wolfestein apk" istall the apk and copy some files to some directory and you're good to go. The game "crashes" if you use the quick load feature, but you just open it again and you're back on the level. Runs incredibly smooth and loads very fast. I tried half-life too but it's unplayed with the touch screen (too hard to). You could tecnically use a mouse via bluetooth or usb.
