Should I be scared putting up a Pokemon Yellow cart on eBay and it selling really low if I start the bidding at something like $5?

There's no box, but it's in pretty damn good condition and the save still works and everything.

>> No.663471

It's worth about $25-$30 even without the box.

It's called "shill bidding" and it's against the rules/will get you kicked off eBay/money not given to you.
Depending on when you list your game, and the quality of photos, you'll get anywhere from $20-30 for it.

That is what people are paying for it, those are auctions.

Also where can you get it for $10 or less?

Those are completed listings, that is what people are actually paying for the game, so yes that is what it is currently worth, minus 10% ebay fees and postage.

Don't do it OP. Think of you childhood. That game was your friend!

>> No.664121

Put it at $32.99 with a buy it now or best offer price. You'll get offers real quick but alot will be low ballers. I sold or two weeks ago for 32 bucks cart only. Never do an auction. Always buyitnow/best offer. You always get the price you want.

not true.
only dipshits in a hurry but from ebay and that's not a lot of people. theres this cool thing called classfied ads where you get items for their worth. just because it'spriced that way doesn't mean people are buying them. wonder why you never see low price listings? because THOSE are the ones people are buying. when you're seeing nothing but the high priced ones, people aint buying that shit. wanna know how I know? BECAUSE THE OVER PRICED ADS ARE STILL SITTING THERE. nigga you dumb for real.

>> No.665340

You shouldn't be too worried. Pokemon is a sure thing in this market, and I guarantee you it will go above $20

more likely above $30 because of brand loyalty to Pikachu from the target audience of hipsters born in the early to mid ninteys.

>> No.666405

>>665330
The listings in the picture i posted were of completed listings , there are literally hundreds of listings that actually sold for over $25.

People are buying them, that is why the prices are green, they are completed listings.

Maybe you should learn how to use ebay before spouting shit.

ITT: how do I into Ebay?

>> No.667281

You can sell that shit for pretty expensive.

Some retro store I went to was selling carts for Pokemon Silver, Gold, and Crystal each for over 40 bucks apiece. It was actually less expensive to get a decent condition GBA from these same people.

...Honestly, that pricing is a bit fucked up.

>> No.667297

don't worry about selling it for less than like $25.
eBay prices are completely seller-advantage.

>>663605
Yes, $10-$15 is right. But this is eBay. Overinflated prices are now the retro-game world we live in. Well for the last 6 months, really.
