I was going to state that since JUST putting a disc in and playing can't be topped versus needing to mod your console. I mean fuck there is so much about getting old consoles to look good on modern tv's you'd think that there would be demand for new crt's. You don't need to replace the stock power supply with a shitty solution that is objectively worse. If you are installing a gdemu you remove one of the 5v regulators on the psu to remove exessive heat. If you MUST replace the entire thing, you get one of those pico psu solutions and a GOOD QUALITY desktop ac adapter. Everything else is shit and causes interference in video output.

you can't complain that emulation isn't the same as original hardware, then also complain when i run the game exactly as on original hardware
make up your mind
and it's not random, slowdown is directly correlated with how much stuff is on screen, after playing it for so long, you get used to what and where things slow down, in fact, i think i would notice the game running too fast when it normally slows down if i suddently played it with no slowdown now

alright, i see what you're getting at, why limit yourself to the original hardware when you don't need to
fair enough, in some cases i do, like i might render n64 games in higher resolution, or use pgxp to reduce vertex jitter and fix texture perspective in psx games
i'm not against emulation-provided enhancements if it doesn't get in the way of the intended experience
i just haven't messed with overclocking, i'm not against the idea in principal, i just haven't given it much thought
