The issue isn't the profiting as much as it is the legal ramifications of it being sold. If you worked on a fan translation for, say FF6 and Square sees your groups name as the team who did the work they're going to send you legal paperwork instead of the glue sniffer on Etsy.

I found evidence it was worked on by Steve Martin on RHDN something like 10 years ago, so it may be a leaked beta.

Name input is kinda fucked up and there is some katakana in the savefile selection, so it lacks some polish to say the least. Nevertheless, thanks to the anon who delivered.

Screenshots and people playing it up made me think it was like Clock Tower, ie an actual game. This is more a linear cinematic adventure game. So I still think the games are neat but they're more akin to young adult fiction and think the games should have come over but as budget titles or some kind of compilation.

Mizzurna is insanely fascinating as a game. It's doing somethign really ground breaking and huge for a playstation title. Whether it can actually hold my interest for an entire playthrough though is unlikely.
