It's one of those rental classics though. Great soundtrack too; the Gen sound hardware worked surprisingly well for Grunge

I think I get why they did it at least. You have all these rooms that you are meant to solve with items or by figuring out their gimmick but if a player misses/wastes their items or can not figure it out, they still need a way to proceed. If you make that get out of fucking up card pain free then the player will simply default to this and never bother to try finding a real solution.
