Played the first one last year, thought I wouldn't enjoy it with those tank controls but they were pretty easy to adapt to, especially once I figured out the 180 button. My only issue with the game was that the bosses were extremely shitty and enemies respawn too quickly... also the difficulty spike in the last two levels is insane, luckily there's an easy live farming trick.

I'd love to see another Croc but I don't think it will ever happen. There's zero interest and platforming mascots with pretty big and loyal fanbases are still getting nothing after years of begging.

Please for the love of fuck stop spreading this dumbass rumor. Do you seriously believe Nintendo would have never had the idea to make a Mario game in 3D if it weren't for Argonaut? Croc bears literally no resemblance to Mario 64 besides being 3D platformers and Croc looking like Yoshi.
The only reason Argonaut started spreading that around and claiming they were ripped off is because they were obviously pissed that Nintendo stopped working with them. Doesn't take a genius to figure out they're just bitter.

It was far better than mediocre. Level design and music, at least in the first one, are top of the shelf. Controls are a bit awkward but hey it was one of the first games. I'd say it's definitely a better game than Spyro or Crash.
