As an autist I have to say it's a double edged sword. No matter how cruel it is to us we are forced to live in a world that not only isn't made for us but at times actively in opposition to us. It wouldn't be fair to ask for the whole world to change to accommodate just a few people either. You must learn to walk among the normalfags. If I was treated with kid gloves for my entire childhood I would have had no hope of that. At the same time I had to put up with a lot of completely unnecessary bullshit at home and school that slowed down the process and dumped me into adulthood as a broken fucked up person. The whole thing needs a complete rethink. Probably won't happen for a long time.

I was a hardcore Nintendo fanboy who only in his 30s discovered how cool Genesis shit was. Maybe I could have had a more balanced perspective if I won all that Sega money.
I did have the animated Sonic movie though so my favorite Sonic character was always Metal Sonic. Maybe that's why I never got into Sonic too much, because I never saw the guy in future games.
